Howard Clifton Langford Jr., a minister of dynamic character, raised in a traditional African-American Baptist church, witnessed the rise and fall of a myriad of ministries and leaders. While growing from a revolutionary young preacher to a reflective leader, he gained up close and personal insights into the challenging journey of today’s church. That insight fueled a fire to ignite her reformation. Reading the book of Acts and seeing it in person are two different things where this man of God has comparatively been able to dissect and diagnose the area of incongruences. Moving from readers to participants in the transformational process of the five-fold ministry is where this book endeavors to go. God’s formation blueprint for His house yields the miraculous fruit spoken of in the book of Acts. It is with that insight that he writes to guide and instruct the waiting bride in her reformation.
